A hétvégén tért haza Angliából a ZTE 17 éves védője, Kádár Tamás. A fiatal kora ellenére igen rutinos futballista előbb a Bolton, majd a Newcastle vendége volt. Az angol sajtó tudni véli, hogy utóbbi klub szívesen leigazolná, akár 650 ezer fontot, vagyis 250 millió fontot is adna érte.

Kádár Tamás tavasszal kapott profi szerződést a Zalaegerszegtől, ahol a mostani idényt még nem kezdőként kezdte meg a felnőtt együttesben, ugyanis a posztjára igazolták Vulint. Ám sérülések miatt mégis csak helyet kapott a csapatban, és be is játszotta magát, ettől fogva rendszeresen játéklehetőséghez jutott. A nagyon profi szemléletű játékos azonban ezt megelőzően Olaszországban vett részt próbajátékon, a Regginánál próbálta ki magát. Elmondása szerint nem feltétlenül azzal a szándékkal, hogy oda igazoljon – hiszen nagy álma Anglia -, de tudta: ezzel is sok tapasztalatot szerezhet.
A védő – aki fiatal kora ellenére már szerepelt Róth Antal U21-es válogatottjában is, de stabilan az U19-es válogatottat erősíti – végül maradt idehaza, és ahogy az imént volt róla szó, a Zalaegerszegben igyekezett megállni a helyét. Noha soha nem tagadta, hogy szeretne egyszer külföldön futballozni, mindent megtett azért, hogy a ZTE-ben megállja a helyét, tudta, hogy anélkül külföldön sem próbálkozhat, az első állomás az, ha itthon stabil emberré tud válni.

Newcastle consider Ł650,000 bid

Newcastle are set to make a bid for Hungarian starlet Tamas Kadar, according to reports.

It is reported in Hungary by Obudaisport that St James' Park boss Sam Allardyce is considering a Ł650,000 move for the 17-year-old Zalaegerszeg defender.

Kadar is keen on a move when the January transfer window opens after recently undergoing a trial with Newcastle and playing in a friendly against Hartlepool.

When in England Kadar also spent time with Bolton, but Newcastle appear to have the edge as they would want the teenager - who has played for Hungary's Under 21 side - to ease their central defensive problems in the future.

"I really enjoyed being in England," Kadar told Skysports.com.

"In Bolton they would count me as a left-sided defender and in Newcastle I would play in the centre of the defence. I admit this (central) is my favourite place on the pitch.

"I know nothing about the financial details, but I did my very best and I know they both liked my performances.

"I was told that I would have a good chance to sign in England and my move might be realized in the winter transfer period."

Kádár Tamás játéka tetszett az angoloknak   

Az elmúlt két hét folyamán angliai próbajátékon szerepelt Kádár Tamás, a ZTE FC fiatal védője. Elöbb a Bolton Wanderers, majd a Newcastle United tesztelte a labdarúgót. Az angol SkySports információi szerint Sam Allardyce, a Newcastle menedzsere elégedett volt a játékos teljesítményével, az elmúlt hét közepén a Hartlepool elleni edzőmérkőzésen jó benyomást tett a klubvezetőkre a magyar játékos. Sam Allardyce a Skysports szerint akár 650.000 fontot is megadna a játékosért (230 millió Ft) , akivel a hírek szerint a klub jövőbeli középhátvéd problémáit szeretnék megoldani. Kádár a januári átigazolási időszakban szerződhet a szigetországba.

"Igazán jól éreztem magam Angliában. Boltonban balhátvédként, míg Newcastleben középhátvédként számítanának rám. Bevallom, leginkább a védelem közepén szeretek játszani. Nem ismerem az anyagi részleteket, csupán megpróbáltam tudásom legjavát adni mindkét helyen, és azt hiszem, Boltonban és Newcastle-ben egyaránt tetszett a játékom. Szeretném azt is elmondani, hogy úgy érzem jó esélyem van Angliába szerződni, átigazolásom a téli átigazolási időszakban valósulhat meg."  -mondta Kádár Tamás a SkySports-nak adott interjúban.

Kádár Newcastle-ba szerződhet

A Kádárért a 260 millió forint nem rossz pénz, de ennyiért sem adnám el.

Még nagyon sokat fejlődhet és teheti ezt itthon is. 17 évesen nagycsapatban játszani rendszeresen nagy dolog.

Még két évet nyugodtan maradhatna.

Ha Juhászt és Priskint is közel fél milliárdért adták el, akkor Kádárból is ki lehet hozni ennyit. Ugyanis legalább akkora tehetség, mint ők szerintem.

Kádár kalandra vágyik

A ZTE fiatalját a Bolton vagy a Newcastle szerezheti meg.

Arról már tegnap olvashattak honlapunkon, hogy az angol Skysports.com értesülései szerint a Newcastle 650 ezer fontért leigazolná a ZTE fiatal védőjét, Kádár Tamás. A 17 éves játékost – aki kézilabdázóként kezdte sportpályafutását - a Bolton is vinné, igaz, egyelőre még egyik klub sem tette meg ajánlatát, de ami késik, nem múlik...
- Úgy tudom, mindkét klub ajánlatot tesz – mondta Kádár. – Mindenképpen szeretnék visszamenni. Még nagyon fiatal vagyok, de úgy érzem, ez nem akadály. Amíg kint voltam, felmértem a helyzetet. A Newcastle-nél a felnőttek között, a Boltonnál a tartalékcsapatnál edzettem, és hihetetlen élményekkel gazdagodtam. A Boltonál négy edzővel is beszélgettem, míg a „Szarkáknál” Sam Allardyce menedzserrel is találkoztam. A ZTE 17 éves védőjét vinné a Newcastle

Kádár Tamás, a ZTE 17 esztendős védője egy hetet Angliában töltött, és jó esélye van rá, hogy januárban 650 ezer fontért (232 millió forint) leigazolja a Newcastle United. A tehetséges játékos képességeit előbb a Boltonnál tesztelték, majd a Premiership tabelláján jelenleg 10. Szarkáknál töltött el néhány - sikeres - napot.

"Nagyon jól éreztem magam Angliában, teljesen más a labdarúgást körülvevő környezet a Boltonnál és a Newcastle-nél ahhoz képest, mint amit Magyarországon megszoktam" - nyilatkozta az [origo]-nak a fiatal futballista, akit immáron nemcsak Zalaegerszegen tartanak óriási tehetségnek.

"Hogy kikkel találkoztam a Boltonnál? Főleg a tartalékcsapattal készülhettem, ám egyszer az első csapat azon tagjaival is együtt tréningezhettem, akik nem utaztak el a gárda UEFA-kupa-meccsére, így volt szerencsém többek között Nicolas Anelka és Ivan Campo játékát is közelről megvizsgálni."

Angliai értesülések szerint akár 650 ezer fontot is hajlandó lenne kifizetni Kádárért leendő brit kérője, amely a jelek szerint nem a Wanderers, hanem a Newcastle United lesz. "A pénzügyi kérdésekről nem tudok semmit, nem is foglalkozom ezzel, ám úgy tudom, tetszettem mindkét csapatnak. Egy biztos: én minden tőlem telhetőt megtettem, s a visszajelzések alapján úgy tűnik, nem keltettem csalódást."

A Szarkáknál olyannyira komolyan veszik a fiatal kora ellenére a magyar U21-es válogatottnál is számításba vett ZTE-védőt, hogy Newcastle-ben végig a legnagyobbak, azaz Damien Duff, Geremi, Nicky Butt vagy épp Mark Viduka társaságában készülhetett Kádár Tamás.

Nem titkolja, szimpatikusabb is volt számára a fekete-fehér mezeseknél eltöltött idő, pláne, hogy a Hartlepool elleni barátságos meccsen "élesben" is bizonyíthatta képességeit, ráadásul kedvenc posztján szerepelhetett. "A Boltonban balhátvédként szerepeltem, a Newcastle-ben pedig belső védőként. Bevallom, utóbbi pozíciót sokkal inkább kedvelem."

S hogy mit kell tennie most a futballparadicsomba belekóstolt, korábban a Reggina által is tesztelt védőnek, hogy összejöjjön az általa már sokszor megálmodott angliai szerződés? Türelmesen várnia kell az angolok hívó szavára, akik már a január 1-jén kezdődő átigazolási szezon elején feltárcsázhatják a ZTE-vezetőket. S mivel a zalai klub csak 11-én kezdi meg a felkészülést a tavaszi idényre, a hátvéd addig is az iskolapadból várja a feljeményeket.

Ha minden jól alakul, akkor Kádár Tamás 2008-ban már nem a földrajz könyvet fogja bújni, hanem futball-leckét vesz majd Newcastle-ben - mondjuk az aranylabdás Michael Owentől.

Tozer stay may be a short one

NEWCASTLE United new boy Ben Tozer’s stay at St James’s Park could only last a couple of weeks.

The 17-year-old left-back is expected to sign for United in the next couple of days in a move which will eventually be worth Ł1m to Swindon Town.

But even before the ink is dry on Tozer’s signature, teams in the Championship are lining up in a bid to take Tozer on loan in the January transfer window.

Tozer has only played a handful of games for the Swindon Town first-team, and at 17 will not be considered for first-team action by Sam Allardyce.

Big Sam already has his striker Andy Carroll out on loan at Preston North End, and he knows the benefits of giving young players experience in the hurly-burly of the Championship.

Speaking for the first time of the impending signing of Tozer, the United boss told me today: “He is only 17 and he is obviously one for the future.

“And yes, there is a possibility Ben will be allowed to go out on loan.

“But first we want him to stay here for two or three weeks so that we can look and him and he can look at us.”

Allardyce’s renowned backroom staff will work on Tozer, and the young defender will have to undergo a series of fitness and other tests before he actually signs.

But reports today Tozer will be joined at St James’s Park by Ipswich town striker Jonathan Walters are wide of the mark, according to Allardyce.

The United boss told me: “I had Jonathan with me at Bolton Wanderers and I am delighted that he is doing so well with Ipswich, but he is not someone I am looking to bring here.”

United had young Hungarian defender Tamas Kadar on trial last week from his club Zalaegerszeg Torna Egylet, but Big Sam says: “He is not on my radar at the moment.”

Someone who was very much on Allardyce’s radar today was Damien Duff as the Republic of Ireland international strives to get back into the first-team picture.

The United boss added: “We are holding another behind-closed-doors match today in the hope of getting Damien back playing for us some time over the holiday period.”

Problems With Tamas Kadar Transfer

It is being reported today that funds in January may be limited at Newcastle United and this may impact the acquisition of 17 year-old Hungarian central defender Tamas Kadar.

Sam Allardyce - does he really want Kadar?

While Newcastle may not be interested in signing Kadar in January they could bring the Hungarian in during the summer, when most transfer dealings will be completed. However Bolton Wanderers, where he also impressed lately, have a more urgent need of Tamas’ services and are said to be readying a Ł650K bid to take the lad to the Reebok.

This is what Tamas said today about his trials:

“I really enjoyed being in England,” “In Bolton they would count me as a left-sided defender and in Newcastle I would play in the center of the defence. I admit this is my favourite place on the pitch.”

“I know nothing about the financial details, but I did my very best and I know they both liked my performances.” “I was told I would have a good chance to sign in England and my move might be realized in the winter transfer period.”

It turns out that Kadar was one of three players on trial, who featured in the friendly last week between Newcastle and Hartlepool United. It would appear that Newcastle will concentrate on bringing in some younger players over the January transfer window. Sam did say recently that Kadar was not on his radar screen recently, but the lad did have a trial at Newcastle.

But it’s hard to believe the story about Kadar going to Bolton in January is true. If he’s a good player, and it seems he is, and Newcastle want him, they could always sign a pre-agreement in January, that says we will bring him to the club in June. Also, Ł650K will hardly break the bank at Newcastle.

We don’t think Kadar will have to decide between joining Bolton Wanderers in January, or risk Newcastle not signing him in the summer, thereby missing out on both opportunities. Things don’t work that way. If Newcastle are interested enough in the player they’ll make sure they get him, one way or another.

United target is linked to Bolton

HUNGARIAN defender Tamas Kadar could be facing a dilemma over whether to join Bolton Wanderers next month or wait until the summer for a possible move to Newcastle United.

With funds limited in January, Magpies manager Sam Allardyce recently said the 17-year-old was “not on my radar at the moment,” despite featuring in a behind-closed-doors match.

He also had a trial at relegation-threatened Bolton, and with their need the more urgent, Gary Megson is thought to be preparing a Ł650,000 bid. All things being equal, Kadar would probably prefer to move to Tyneside, where he has been told he would be used in his preferred central position.

But he must weigh up the risk in turning down Bolton and a lucrative Premier League deal to wait for an alternative that might never happen.

“I really enjoyed being in England,” said Kadar, who is currently playing for Zalaegerszeg in his homeland and is already an Under-21 international.

“In Bolton they would count me as a left-sided defender and in Newcastle I would play in the centre of the defence. I admit this is my favourite place on the pitch. I know nothing about the financial details, but I did my very best and I know they both liked my performances.

Kadar was one of three trialists who recently featured in a friendly between Newcastle and Hartlepool United. After bringing in nine signings during the last transfer window, United chairman Chris Mort has told Allardyce to concentrate on bringing in “development” players in the new year.

The former Bolton manager is unhappy with the quality of young players immediately below first-team level at St James’s Park. That is why he is set to strike a Ł1.1m deal with Swindon Town for Ben Tozer who, like Kadar, is a 17-year-old defender.

Nevertheless, with four Newcastle players – Obafemi Martins, Geremi, Habib Beye and Abdoulaye Faye – expected to be called up to the African Cup of Nations in January and February Allardyce is still anxious to add proven quality to his squad. But the former central defender has long been a critic of the system of transfer windows and does not want to build up too many hopes.

“We need two or three players and we are on the ball over that,” he said. “But we do need quality players, and I just hope we can find them.”

Top quality players are seldom available at this time of year. The big clubs generally try to do most if not all of their business in the summer, leaving most of the January transfer dealing to those panicking at the wrong end of the table, such as Bolton.

It is why Allardyce is not optimistic of landing top defensive target Wes Brown before the end of the campaign. Brown’s contract expires in the summer, when he will be able to leave for free.

Nobody who has played in this season’s European or Uefa Cup would be eligible to represent the Red Devils in the Champions League during the second half of the campaign.

This time last year Glenn Roeder was making similar noises about the need to bring new players to Tyneside, albeit for different reasons. But the only person he managed to entice was defender Oguchi Onyewu, and then only on loan.

The American’s move from Standard Liege was so unsuccessful the Magpies declined their option to make it permanent, even though they had already decided to release Titus Bramble and Craig Moore.

Whites plan on busy January sales

BOLTON Wanderers are just 10 days away from what is likely to be their busiest ever mid-winter transfer spree - if the rumour mill is anything to go by.

Gary Megson has form for wheeling and dealing. When he was manager at West Brom he signed almost an entire team in the January sales.

And there is no doubt that he will be one of the busiest of Premiership managers this time round as he looks to strengthen his squad for the second half of the season.

Nicolas Anelka still holds the key: if the Frenchman is looking for a move and, if Wanderers decide to cash in, Megson's transfer kitty will be boosted considerably. If not, he will have less to spend but with the bonus of having a world-class striker to lead the battle for survival.

To date, he maintains Bolton have had no approaches for Anelka, but, if that changes, he says money will not necessarily be the prime concern.

"In any transfer - and it's not peculiar to Nic - it has to suit the buying club, the selling club and the player," he said.

The consoling fact for Wanderers fans is that Anelka is happy at the Reebok and won't be going anywhere just for the sake of it. Chelsea are favourites, but if they think he'll go to Stamford Bridge as "cover" for Didier Drogba, they can think again.

Anelka apart, Wanderers are being linked with more potential targets as the clock counts down.

Celtic's 20-year-old former Feyenoord midfielder, Evander Sno, is one of the latest, giving the headline writers the bonus of forecasting "Sno at the Reebok in January".

Meanwhile, the Hungary U21 defender Tamas Kadar claims to have had trials with Wanderers and Newcastle - suggesting Megson could be going head-to-head with Sam Allardyce.

Wanderers are reported to be lining up a Ł650,000 bid, even though there appears to be some discrepancy over where they would play him, even if they did sign him.

"So agencies are using our name. We've been linked with dozens and dozens, as have Wigan and Derby because people think we are going to be doing business."
